This is an open Position for a remote Junior java programmer (Freelance). This job position is expired.
Our company is currently expanding and is in need of a Junior Java developer freelance to work on a contract basis with us. The initial probation time will be of 1 month.
As a Junior Java developer candidate, you must:
- Have knowledge and working experience in Java and Javaspring.
- Have knowledge and working experience in Docker container systems.
- Understand how HTML and CSS Work. (SASS/SCSS is a plus)
- Understand what MVC is and have knowledge in operating with databases (both SQL and no-SQL solutions).
- Be independent and autonomous at resolving problems as they come.
- Not be afraid of asking questions and doubts to your seniors and superiors.
- Eager to learn new technologies.
Your responsibilities will be
- Reporting to your Operations Officer
- Develop applications in Java and Javaspring
- Set up development environment as well as production environments, as well as publishing your work in a CI pipeline managed by git
- Participate in daily scrumm meetings with other teammates.
- Document your work and backlog.
Our current timezone is GMT +2. We will expect you to work with us 7 hours a day from Monday to Friday (Saturdays and sundays off) and at least 3 of those hours must be worked between 9:00 and 16:00 in the GMT+2 timezone.
If you are willing to join our small team of remote developers, there is also a test to be submitted and completed. This test should take you anything between 30 minutes to 2 hours to complete (depending on your skills).
